Alberto Pierotti is Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Obsidian Capital SGR, where he is responsible for directing and overseeing the investment activities for fund of funds and co-investment products. Specifically, Alberto leads the investment team in selecting private equity funds and co-investments on a global basis. Before joining Obsidian, Alberto held various senior positions in Avenue Capital and Alantra Asset Management, where he completed several transactions in the mid-market across multiple jurisdictions.
Alberto graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Turin in Italy in 2003 and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 2008.
