Piero Irivarren Leon is Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at AFP Habitat Peru, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio management across global markets, with a long-term focus on disciplined investment management, risk management and sustainable value creation for affiliates’ retirement funds.
He brings more than 18 years of experience in investment management and capital markets. Prior to his current role, he served as Research and Fund Selection Director at Profuturo AFP from 2023 to 2025. He previously spent five years at AFP Habitat Peru, where he held senior positions including Head of Equity and Deputy Investment Manager.
Earlier in his career, he held investment roles at Credicorp Capital, IM Trust, Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) and Credifondo SAFI.
Piero holds an Executive MBA from Universidad ESAN and a degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico.
