Andrew Bakowski is a Senior Portfolio Manager within the Direct Private Opportunities (DPO) group at BlackRock. Mr. Bakowski joined the firm in 2019. Prior to joining BlackRock, he worked in JPMorgan’s Technology Investment Banking group, advising corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and financing alternatives including equity and debt offerings. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Mr. Bakowski was a professional baseball player before pursuing his MBA. Mr. Bakowski received an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Brown University.
