Yelin Sun is the Founding Partner of HyT Capital, with extensive experience across the technology industry and venture capital. Prior to founding the firm in 2015, Mr. Sun served as Senior Vice President at a leading global technology company, where he held senior leadership roles including President of the Beijing Research Institute, President of Global Technical Services, President of the Optical Network Product Line, President of the CIS Region, and President of Operations and Regional Management. He has deep expertise in product innovation, cross-border operations, and enterprise growth management.
Over the past decade, Mr. Sun has focused on investments in intelligent technologies. He has been recognized by authoritative Chinese rankings as a Top 100 Investor by Zero2IPO and a Top 50 Investor by CVInfo. He has led investments in Innoscience (2577.HK), KemaTek (301611.SZ), Hanshow (301275.SZ), JoyWell Semi, Phlexing, and other sector-leading enterprises, with seven portfolio companies having completed IPOs.
In 2019, he introduced the "Third-Generation Information Technology" framework, systematically identifying AI-driven deep-tech opportunities across semiconductors, AI infrastructure, intelligent terminals, and applications, while leveraging industry insight to support the long-term growth of technology enterprises.
Mr. Sun holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Electronics and Optoelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
