Kasper Wichmann is the founder and CEO of Balentic, a technology company developing AI-driven tools that help institutional investors and private market firms better discover, analyse, and navigate investment opportunities.
He brings nearly 20 years of global private markets experience as an institutional allocator, having invested across venture capital, growth equity, and private equity strategies. Previously, he headed UBS Asset Management’s private equity business in Asia, based in Hong Kong, helped establish the Asian Development Bank’s first direct private equity fund, and built Nykredit’s private equity investment platform. Today, he also serves as Investment Director at EIFO, Denmark’s Severeign Wealth Fund.
Drawing on experience as both an investor and entrepreneur, Kasper writes and speaks regularly on venture capital, private equity, capital formation, and how technology is reshaping private markets.
