Vasileios Touronis is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Star Music Fund, a London-based specialist platform investing in mid-market music publishing and recorded music rights. SMF’s engine is a track record of sourcing over $700M in deal flow to its capital partners, the majority through first-look or exclusive channels.
He has spent over 40 years in the music industry. He began at CBS Records in the 1980s, then founded one of Greece’s leading radio groups and its foremost concert promotion business, staging artists from Dionne Warwick to U2. He moved to London in 2012, holding C-level roles across music and video streaming through the sector’s shift to digital, and in 2022 co-founded a music analytics platform serving music funds as a core client base.
Vasileios holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering. He owns some 50,000 vinyl records.
