A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, Sophie Paturle holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a DECF qualification in accounting and finance. She has gained extensive experience in private equity through roles at BTP Capital, Crédit du Nord and Société Générale. In 2005, she co-founded Demeter IM, a pioneering private equity firm and European leader in the ecological transition.
Following its merger with Cerea, she is now Founding Managing Partner of Demea Sustainable Investment. An active member of France Invest for nearly 25 years, she founded and chaired the “France Invest avec Elles” Committee and the “Industry and Ecological Transition” Committee. In June 2025, she was unanimously elected Chair of France Invest for a two-year term.
Sophie Paturle is a Chevalier of the Ordre National du Mérite and a Chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur.
