Benedetta serves as Head of Private Markets Strategy at State Street Investment Management, responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling private markets opportunities, including strategic partnerships and the commercialization of related products and solutions globally.
She also co-chairs the firm’s Inclusion & Diversity Network in the Middle East and Africa.
She brings nearly two decades of experience in private markets, spanning fundraising, capital formation, and investments - including direct, indirect, and GP stakes - across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
Benedetta began her private markets career as an Investment Manager in Private Equity direct investments at Synergo SGR (Milan), before joining Generali Group (Milan/London), where she was initially part of the Private Equity investment team and later led the sourcing of majority GP stake investments in European and US alternative asset managers.
She subsequently joined Raymond James Cebile, contributing to fundraising efforts across private equity, private credit, and secondaries in EMEA. Most recently, Benedetta was Head of Private Equity Portfolio and Client Solutions EMEA at Federated Hermes in London, where she led private equity business development and served on the Investment Committee, reviewing fund investments and direct co-investments.
In addition to her industry experience, Benedetta is an Executive Fellow at London Business School, where she teaches Private Equity and Venture Capital across the MBA and Master’s in Finance programmes.
