Roxana Tataru is a Managing Director in Direct Equity Infrastructure at Allianz Global Investors, where she plays a senior role in the active ownership and strategic oversight of European infrastructure investments. She is responsible for the active stewardship and value creation of complex, regulated and transition critical infrastructure businesses across Europe, working closely with management teams and partners to unlock long term value.
Roxana currently serves on the boards of Affinity Water in the UK, Unsere Grüne Glasfaser (greenfield fibre network) in Germany and Porterbrook, one of the UK’s largest rolling stock leasing companies. She brings deep experience across utilities, digital infrastructure and energy transition assets, with a particular strength in governance, capital structure optimisation and stakeholder engagement in highly scrutinised environments. Her approach combines an asset owner mindset with commercial discipline, supporting resilient growth while maintaining strong credit and risk profiles.
Prior to joining Allianz, Roxana worked in infrastructure financing at Royal Bank of Canada, advising on major European utility, transport and renewable assets. She holds a First Class BSc in Management, Accounting & Finance from Manchester Business School.
