Gaurav is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Ayna, an advisory plus implementation platform focused exclusively on Industrial Tech companies. Ayna partners with private equity firms, investors, and industrial CXOs across advisory, transaction support, transformation, and AI-enabled products. Through its track record of outsized exits — Ayna deploys its own capital alongside its partners & clients. This combination of proprietary investing, operating depth, and long-duration capital means that Ayna functions like a family office: patient, principal-minded, and directly accountable for value creation.
Prior to Ayna, Gaurav was a Partner at McKinsey & Company's Palo Alto and Washington, D.C. offices, where he co-led the North American industrials and semiconductors practice and was one of the leaders of the Firm's Advanced Data Analytics service line. Before McKinsey, he held corporate development roles at Capital One and Zephyr Management.
Gaurav is a co-author of The Titanium Economy: How Industrial Technology Can Create a Better, Faster, Stronger America (October 2022), a WSJ bestseller across multiple categories that offers a deep dive into the underappreciated industrial technology sector.
He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
