Bhupinder Singh is Managing Director and Global Head of Leveraged & Sponsor
Financing at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). He drives the origination and structuring of
sponsor-driven transactions globally across Infrastructure, Private Equity, Structured
Credit, and Fund Finance, and also leads the bank’s corporate acquisition financing
business, advising leading corporates on M&A-driven and event-based financings. Under
his leadership, the business has grown multiple-fold over the past six years, with
expanded geographic reach and a broader range of capital solutions.
In parallel, Bhupinder has developed FAB’s private credit capability from within the bank,
establishing a differentiated, bank-led platform that bridges traditional balance-sheet
lending and private capital through innovative, bespoke and non-bank financings—
positioning FAB as a credible institutional participant in the evolving private credit and
alternatives market.
Previously, Bhupinder spent ten years at Standard Chartered in Dubai and began his
career in M&A at Morgan Stanley.
