Anthony Civico is Counsel in the Asset Management Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Paris. He advises asset managers on the structuring and formation of investment funds and assists them on the implementation of European and national regulatory requirements.
Drawing on years of experience with sophisticated clients, Anthony has developed innovative legal and contractual structuring techniques across a range of complex fund structures. He has expertise in GP-led transactions, including continuation funds and strip sale funds.
He also advises limited partners on their investments in major investment funds established principally in the United States and the European Union with debt, private equity, and infrastructure strategies, as well as on the establishment of single managed accounts (SMAs).
Having previously practiced in the fund teams of leading global law firms in Luxembourg, Anthony brings deep knowledge of Luxembourg's legal and regulatory environment and continues to regularly advise clients established there. He also guides clients on their cross-border expansion strategies in jurisdictions such as the United States, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Anthony plays a key role in the AI strategy of Willkie's global Asset Management team. He collaborates closely with AI companies to develop and enhance the integration of AI tools into the firm's legal processes.
Anthony is admitted to the Paris Bar. He holds a degree from ESSEC Business School and an LL.M. in International Financial Law from King's College London.
