3one4 Capital

Principal

Description

Ayushi Garg is a Principal at 3one4 Capital, where she leads Growth and Capital Development across the firm’s portfolio spanning Deep Tech, SaaS, Consumer, and Industrial Tech. Her work spans the full arc of company building, from helping early-stage companies find their first enterprise customers and define repeatable go-to-market motions, to working with growth-stage companies on geographic expansion, inorganic growth through acquisitions, and fundraising strategy as they approach scale. Ayushi has supported over 30 portfolio companies in securing follow-on growth rounds, including KukuFM, Scimplify, Yulu, Betterplace, Kapiva, Everstage, and has led direct revenue growth initiatives across the portfolio. She works closely with portfolio companies in a hands-on, stage-aware manner, partnering with founders early to identify target customer segments, structure initial enterprise pilots, and build distribution and partnerships. As companies mature and scale, her focus shifts to market expansion, inorganic growth (including M&A), and designing the right capital stack. With an operator-oriented approach, she engages deeply on execution, working through commercial and strategic problems alongside founders. On the capital side, she leads exit orchestration across the portfolio, including acquirer mapping across strategics, PE, and global buyers, managing secondary processes, supporting IPO readiness, and advising on round structuring and investor positioning, while also managing global co-investor relationships and contributing to LP engagement and capital development. Her foundation is rooted in hands-on research and industry experience at premier scientific institutions. As an Indian Academy of Sciences Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, she developed a browser-based simulation tool to study phase transformations in materials systems. Earlier, at the National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), Jamshedpur, she authored a research paper on microwave-based reduction of iron-ore pellets, exploring alternative energy-efficient metallurgical processes. She also gained operational exposure at Bhilai Steel Plant and Bansal Iron & Steel, working on manufacturing workflows and material behaviour analysis. Prior to 3one4 Capital, Ayushi was a founding team member at The CoWrks Foundry (TCF), CoWrks’ seed-stage investing arm and accelerator platform. In her role, she evaluated 500+ startup applications per cohort, led deal negotiations, managed a 25+ company portfolio, and was instrumental in connecting portfolio companies with strategic partners for successful business outcomes and fundraising. Before TCF, she was an early employee at Tracxn, covering Consumer, B2B and Retail verticals globally, preparing due diligence and competitive landscape reports for major investor clients, authoring sector reports and investment newsletters, and conducting market sizing studies. This early grounding in structured research methodology and investment pattern recognition directly informs the analytical rigour she brings to portfolio and capital development work at 3one4 Capital. Ayushi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal.
