Francesco Aldorisio, Managing Partner, is a member of the SPES Executive Committee and the Private Equity Investment Committee. Mr Aldorisio sits on the boards of various portfolio companies across Europe and is a member of the advisory boards of selected private equity funds. He joined Akina (previously Unigestion, now SPES) in 2007 where he helped covering several European markets across the primary, secondary and direct spectrum. Mr Aldorisio's responsibilities were spread across the full chain of activities from deal origination to execution. Mr Aldorisio was an early player in the secondary market completing several transactions and building Akina’s track record in secondaries and later on focused on establishing and developing the Direct Investments strategy and Unigestion’s direct team globally.
In 2023 Mr Aldorisio was promoted to Head of Investments at Unigestion with responsibilities for private equity investment activities and team globally. He became a Managing Partner and member of the SPES Executive Committee following the completion of the Unigestion / Sagard partnership agreement in April 2026.
Mr Aldorisio began his career in 2002 at ABB in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team, where he managed several divestments and acquisitions globally.
Mr Aldorisio holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics and Social Sciences with a major in industrial economy and corporate finance from Bocconi University, Milan.
