Xavier is the Managing Partner of Lazard Elaia Capital (LEC) and CEO and co-founder of Elaia. Having started his career in the Arithmetics and Algebraic Geometry research lab at Université Paris-Sud, Xavier founded a start-up in the e-learning sector sold in 1999 to a French publisher. He then joined CPR (acquired by Crédit Agricole Indosuez) where he created and developed a VC business in the software and internet sectors. Xavier received a PhD in Mathematics from Ecole Normale Supérieure, Agrégation.
