Marco Belletti has over 30 years of experience in Investment Banking and Asset Management. He graduated in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, began his career at Sopaf, and subsequently joined Interbanca in 2000 as Head of M&A. In 2007, he moved to Société Générale CIB, where he first led the Italian M&A team, then served as Global Head of Consumer, Retail and Luxury, and was later appointed Senior Banker and Head of Private Investment Banking for Société Générale CIB in Italy.
Since 2018, Marco has served as CEO of Azimut Libera Impresa SGR, the alternative investments platform of the Azimut Group. Under his leadership, he has been instrumental in building the platform from the ground up, expanding it to €5bn in assets under management and a portfolio of 30 funds. Today, the platform spans private equity, venture capital, private credit, and infrastructure strategies, providing long-term capital to entrepreneurs and mid-market companies while contributing to the growth and competitiveness of the real economy.
