Responsible for Private Equity direct co-investments and secondaries in North America and Western Europe for the Andbank group. Prior to Andbank, Alvaro founded Balian Private Equity - a unique fund focused on small and midcap private equity in western Europe. Before setting up Balian PE, Alvaro deployed four investments vehicles focus in both primary investments and co-investments across Europe and US for a major PE house. Alvaro holds a double degree in Business and Law at ICADE in Madrid, with an exchange program at Marquette University in the USA.
