As Executive Editor, I manage the global editorial teams for Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets divisions across ION Analytics. Our Next-Generation Mergermarket platform is the leading source for predictive analysis in M&A, delivering the earliest possibly signs of deals, opportunities, and threats in the market.

I have been part of ION Analytics for 18 years. Prior to my current role, I served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief for Acuris Global, and spent 10 years as a writer for Dealreporter, covering high profile cross-border deals around the world. These include cases range from covering US shareholder activism in Japan to M&A tax loopholes. I have also been involved in launching new data and analytics solutions for those operating in private capital markets including Next-Gen Mergermarket and ION’s ECM programme in North America. I am a frequent media commentator, and have shared my views on CNBC, BBC World, and Sky News.
Outside of ION, I have a keen interest in workplace diversity and women in the industry. In December 2023, I completed my MBA dissertation on female leadership styles. I interviewed 20 female and 10 male PE partners in order to construct a model of authentic female leadership techniques that really work. I love learning languages, and started my career as an ESL teacher in a Japanese high school.
