Description
James King is Chief Capital Officer at Round Hill Music, where he focusses on capital market transactions, structuring, fundraising and investor relations. James has over 25 years’ experience in international corporate finance and private equity, having joined Round Hill Music from investment bank Cavendish where he led the Investment Companies division, advising alternative asset investment funds on corporate finance and restructuring. During his time at Cavendish, James was the lead advisor to Round Hill Music Royalty Fund on the London Stock Exchange, which was acquired by Concord in 2023. James has a post-graduate degree in Economics and Marketing from the University of Natal. Outside of his work at Round Hill, James is passionate about charitable endeavours and helped establish a charity in South Africa to builds schools and provide education for underprivileged children. He is also co-founder and director of Linea Capital Partners, a South African business providing innovative growth capital solutions for early-stage businesses.
