Cyril Demaria-Bengochéa is Head of Private Markets Strategy at the Chief Investment Office of Julius Baer. He is the key point of contact at the Bank for private market expertise. He provides in-depth market research, analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities and risks in private markets. He supports clients with expert advice on private markets, shaping and delivering strategic and tailored solutions. He also sits on the Private Markets Investment Committee and the Investment Committee of the Julius Baer Foundation. Previously, he was notably Partner in charge of Private Markets at Wellershoff & Partners, and Head of Private Markets Research at the Chief Investment Office of UBS. He is an Affiliate Professor at EDHEC Business School, and the author of multiple books, among them Introduction to Private Equity, Debt and Real Assets (Wiley, 3rd ed, 2020) translated in multiple languages, and Asset Allocation and Private Markets (Wiley, 2021).
