Ara Energy is focused on acquiring, optimizing, and decarbonizing conventional energy assets. This strategy targets thermal generation, biofuel production, and energy distribution, seeking private equity returns with a private credit-like yield profile for downside protection. We have built a portfolio of eight assets across the energy value chain. As the world continues to depend on conventional energy to meet rising power demand from AI and electrification, reducing carbon intensity across this value chain is critical. Ara Private Equity invests in the rollout of decarbonizing process technologies and in traditional buyouts of decarbonization service providers and enablers. The strategy focuses on four core industrial sectors: chemicals and materials; manufacturing and industrial services; energy efficiency and green fuels; and food and agriculture.
Ara Infrastructure is a value-add strategy focused on building new or repurposing existing infrastructure to enable decarbonization at scale. The strategy targets low-carbon molecules (such as biofuels), green transportation, waste-to-value platforms, and clean industry.
