Jean-Marc Prunet is a Partner of Cathay Capital Private Equity, based in Paris. Jean-Marc brings more than 20 years of experience, in investment at Rothschild & Cie, Eurazeo and Fondations Capital, then as an entrepreneur and executive leader within the Myfox and Somfy family groups. Jean-Marc has dual expertise, having been involved in numerous transactions in the sectors of Industry, Distribution, Media and Technology, then in a second part of his career having led the turnaround and development of a startup, and the management of a large group activity as well as strategic projects of organizational and digital transformation. At Cathay, Jean-Marc is in charge of investment opportunities in France, and capitalizing on his experience, he also provides support to the transformation journey and value creation of portfolio companies. Jean-Marc is a graduate of ESSEC Business School and holds a master’s degree in business law from the University of Paris II.
