Long-term asset owners are under mounting pressure to act on their own commitments on climate, governance, social and human rights issues across a 20-30 year horizon. Manager engagement offers a practical means of doing so that goes beyond reporting and monitoring. Yet GPs are left guessing how far they are expected to go and over what timeline. When they ask, many LPs struggle to say what they want and by when. This peer-to-peer roundtable explores how LPs foster effective engagement, including how to set clear expectations, give the necessary direction and share knowledge.
