Description
AI is moving rapidly from a tool for analysing information towards autonomous systems capable of researching companies, building investment cases, monitoring portfolios and executing increasingly complex workflows. For private markets, this raises a much bigger question: does AI ultimately replace the investment professional — or make the best investors dramatically more powerful?
Could AI-native investment firms compete with traditional private equity firms? Could an AI agent source a company, conduct initial due diligence, model the investment case, identify risks and continuously monitor the portfolio? And if machines can process vastly more information than human teams, what remains uniquely human in the investment decision?
The panel will look beyond today's AI applications to explore how the investment profession could evolve as intelligence becomes increasingly automated — from the analyst and associate model to the investment committee itself.
